WHOOOHOOOO, it's Friday, my dears! Isn't that such a wonderful exclamatory phrase?! I know for some of my friends it is the conclusion of summer school, thus allowing them some time to relax before returning to the grind in just 3 short weeks. For others, it is the signal to the end of a busy and stressful work week, when that Friday beer is just what the doctor ordered. Here the weekend signals more fun and enjoyment with family and friends. Oh, and it is also haircut Saturday!!!!! How could I not mention that?! It is always the highlight of my weekend when I get a haircut. Not that I change the style, short is the way to go with 2 young kiddos, but I adore my Judi. Shoooot, she's been cutting my hair for the last 22 years. She was there on my wedding day, making sure it was perfect with my veil, she's colored it, let it grow, and chopped it off again. However, I digress....lol!
What are some of the favorite things you like to do during the weekends? Traveling? Impromptu trips within driving distance? Baking? I am thinking about making some brownies I found on Pinterest: Death by Caramel Brownies. Should I try them now or wait until fall arrives? Maybe some of Pioneer Woman's Angel Sugar Cookies are really in order. Or MAYBE some chocolate chip cookie sandwiches? I don't know, but clearly I'm feeling the need to be slightly productive today, and not just by doing laundry :0)
